ABOUT

Established in 2008, Polaris Learning Centre offers one-on-one curriculum-specific tutoring for students in Kindergarten to grade 12. The tutoring caters to every type of learner and is relevant to what students are learning in their school's classroom.

For over 12 years, Polaris Learning Centre is a certified independent school, offering students customized one-on-one high school credit courses. This is an opportunity for students to thrive in an environment that is geared to learning at their pace with an abundance of resources and support.

Polaris Learning Centre is located in the heart of Leaside in Toronto, and steps away from the TTC and public parking. Private desks are spread across 1,200sq.ft. of learning space. We offer protected security surveillance, a private washroom, access to High Speed WiFi and a snack bar that is customized to meet the needs of our parents and students.

This enriched learning environment continues to grow and most recently provides guidance, academic consulting and learning opportunities abroad.

SUCCESS STORIES

"Polaris Learning Centre has been the best option for my son. Their flexible schedule allows my son to play hockey and take a credit course. Something that wasn't possible with other learning centers."

"My daughter always had trouble with math. It just wasn't her strong subject. Polaris Learning Centre gave my daughter the opportunity to learn math at the pace she needed and a chance to do well in a subject she dreaded. The tutor helped her with the lessons she was learning in the classroom of her home school. Thank you for all your help!"

"My son needed a Grade 12 biology credit. His teacher at his school was ineffective in her teaching and there were too many kids in his class. Polaris Learning Centre matched my son with an excellent teacher and the one-on-one teaching was exactly what he needed for such a dense course.  He is now attending his first year at the University of Toronto in the Life Sciences program. We are so proud of him. Thank you Polaris!"
